We have already talked about drinks and art, so let´s talk about food, toasts to be exact. Most people don’t take toast as a food to improve, but rather as a simple and plain dish. But everything could be improved. Put some creativity and let your imagination flow – just like Manami Sasaki do – a Japanese designer and artist.
Due to lockdown, she decided to dedicate more time to her breakfast than usual. She engaged traditional Japanese approaches to her morning meals, ending up with state-of-the-art pieces that look too good to be eaten.
Sasaki says she only uses natural ingredients for her “sandwich art”. She take regular groceries and mixes them right on the toasts, in a way that is tasty and good-looking at the same time.
