Are you feeling like a horse running a never-ending race? Well, even if you don’t, you’re probably feeling some level of stress due to the rhythm modern society lives in. What if I told you that this rhythm is created by the male way of dealing with things? From reaching some goal and ways to relax to building relationships and coping with stress. It’s all male-oriented, which means if you were born a woman – all those things simply don’t work for you!

The main issue

We often say that modern society is very goal-oriented and it’s actually true. From sending rockets into the sky to reaching some business goal in a short amount of time, races are happening all around us. With guys ruling politics and most of the business world it’s only natural to have this scheme. But because it works for men doesn’t mean that women need to live by the same rules! In fact, it only hurts their health if they follow this crazy rhythm.

Why it’s like that

Women are all about slow processes, nurturing, relaxing, and building up energy they can later share or use creatively, while men have this vector-like mindset that is filled with goals and means to reach from point A to point B. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great mindset! And women need some of those planning and organizing skills in their lives, too, but their main rhythm is still too different from that of a man simply because their bodies are different. Yes, it all comes to physiology! The main goal-oriented theme is coming from the guys’ nature to hunt and conquer. Just like there’s a race happening to fertilize the egg in a woman’s womb, that race is projected into the outer world onto everything we do in the society. Naturally, that’s not how women are wired. They don’t need to race like that!

What’s a female rhythm

It’s not a secret that a woman’s nature is cyclical, but somewhere throughout the history this cyclical rhythm has been diminished and looked upon as something completely irrelevant. That’s why women all over the world ignore their natural rhythms, trying hard and drinking caffeine when their bodies are screaming to get some rest and simply stop for a moment without the need to rush somewhere. The cycle of a woman’s body is the same cycle you can see everywhere in nature – from the change of day and night to the change of seasons and the rotation of the Earth around the Sun.

But the goal-oriented mindset doesn’t see these cycles and doesn’t really care about them – a goal needs to be reached whatever the cost, and then you can rest, and then repeat this whole thing all over again. Women, on the other hand, go through the cycle of life, death, and rebirth every month as their bodies experience the menstrual cycle. Yet, they’ve been taught to ignore it, just take some pills, gather all their strength, and keep on pushing through. It doesn’t seem to be too healthy, does it?

What you can do right now

Beautiful female bodies are wired a certain way and you should be aware of the processes that it goes through every part of the month. The body goes through different stages of activity when there is more energy right after the period ends (which can be compared to spring), then comes summer, which is full of life, then comes autumn, when the energy is less and it’s time to reflect on what happened during the month, and after that, it’s winter, when everything dwindles down and the body needs only rest, care, and nurture. That is the time of the period itself and that is definitely something that should be taken into consideration by every woman. Building your working and social activity rhythms around these cycles can greatly improve your overall performance and make it easier and more natural for your body to go through all these phases.

Of course, this is only the tip of the iceberg, but this is a good starting point that has the potential to change your life for good.
